Job Summary:

We are looking for a Solution Architect / Software Architect to design and oversee the architecture of highly scalable, secure, and efficient systems. The architect will collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and business teams to ensure that the technical solutions align with business objectives, best practices, and future scalability needs. This role requires expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and DevSecOps while ensuring that the system remains maintainable and extensible

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design & Strategy

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures.

• Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture).

• Ensure the system’s design aligns with business goals, SLAs, and compliance requirements.

• Lead proof of concepts (PoCs) for new technologies and frameworks.

2. Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture

• Design cloud-native solutions for deployment on Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Define networking, security, and infrastructure strategies for microservices and distributed systems

• Ensure proper implementation of high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and fault tolerance mechanisms

3. Microservices & API Architecture

• Define best practices for microservices development, API design, and event-driven architectures

• Ensure APIs follow REST, Graphql, or GRPC standards, with proper authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).

• Guide teams on implementing service mesh solutions (Istio, Linkerd) for service-to service communication.

4. DevOps & CI/CD Integration

Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring.

• Ensure seamless integration of CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud environments.

• Advocate for continuous integration, automated testing, and infrastructure automation.

5. Security & Compliance

• Design and enforce secure architecture principles (Zero Trust, RBAC, IAM policies).

• Work with security teams to integrate best practices in DevSecOps (SAST, DAST, secrets management).

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, and other regulatory requirements

6. Performance & Scalability Optimization

• Define best practices for caching, database sharding, and load balancing.

• Optimize system performance, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency in production environments

• Ensure architecture is prepared for horizontal scaling, multi-region deployments, and high-throughput processing.

7. Governance & Documentation

• Establish architecture guidelines, design principles, and technical governance.

• Create and maintain architectural diagrams, API documentation, and best practice guides.

• Ensure system documentation is kept up-to-date for developers and operations teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Technical Skills:

• Experience: 8+ years in software development, system architecture, or solution architecture.

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, GoLang, Python, or Node.js.

• Cloud & Containers: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Microservices & APIs: Strong expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, gRPC, and GraphQL.

• Messaging & Event Streaming: Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or Pulsar.

• Security & IAM: Deep understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, and API Gateway security.

• Databases & Storage: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).

• CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.

• Observability & Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry.

Soft Skills:

• Leadership: Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify architectural bottlenecks and scalability issues.

• Collaboration: Excellent ability to work with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Security, and Business.

• Communication: Ability to present architecture decisions to both technical and non -technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, or similar.

• Experience with Streaming & AI Workloads: Knowledge of real-time data processing, AI model inference, and big data architectures.

• Experience in Multi-Tenant & SaaS Platforms: Designing multi-tenant applications with RBAC, tenant isolation, and scalability.
