We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our procurement and operations teams. The successful candidate will support sourcing, supplier onboarding, purchase order lifecycle, and vendor performance management while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and applicable regulations. This full-time role requires strong transactional procurement experience, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across commercial, finance, legal, and operational stakeholders. The role offers opportunities to optimize purchasing processes, contribute to cost and risk management, and improve supplier relationships through practical governance and stakeholder engagement.
Procurement Specialist Responsibilities — sourcing, purchasing, supplier management
Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders across the procurement lifecycle
Coordinate supplier selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring
Support tendering activities (RFP/RFQ) and evaluation of bids
Negotiate commercial terms and pricing with suppliers within delegated authority
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations
Maintain accurate procurement records and contract documentation in CLM or document repositories
Collaborate with finance to validate invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support timely payment processing
Provide procurement support to internal stakeholders and escalate supplier issues as needed
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and improve supplier outcomes
Minimum Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management
Working knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing lifecycle, and supplier performance metrics
Familiarity with purchasing systems, ERP modules, or procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
Understanding of basic commercial terms, warranties, and service-level expectations
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams
